Live Online Auction

  • registration or admin fee may apply depending on the auction type. This will be clearly displayed on the auction page before bidding.

  1. Click on the Register button on the homepage.
  2. Fill in your personal or business details.
  3. Upload your FICA documents (ID, proof of address, and any required business registration documents) for verification.
  4. Verify your email address through the confirmation link we send.
  5. Once verified, log in to access bidding, selling, and account management features.

  • You will need a valid email address, internet access, and a compatible device (desktop, laptop, tablet, or smartphone).
  • For all auctions we require proof of identity or additional documentation these requirements will be listed in the auction details.

  • All auctions at AI Auctions are conducted online via our auction portal over a specified period.
  • Registered bidders can place bids on available lots during the allocated times.
  • Each auction will have its own conditions, start time, and closing time.

  • Payments can be made via bank transfer. Full payment must be received within 24 hours of winning a lot, unless otherwise stated in the lot conditions. Failure to pay may result in cancellation of sale and suspension of bidding rights.

  • Once you are the successful bidder, you will receive a confirmation email and an invoice. Please make payment within the time-frame specified.
  • Ownership of the item can only be transferred once payment has been cleared and all conditions of sale have been met.

Yes

  • We encourage you to view the items online and review all provided documentation, photos, and videos. Items are viewable online only. All items are sold “as is, where is,” unless otherwise clearly stated in the listing.

To sell your items or livestock:

  • Register an account on AI Auctions.

  • Complete your profile with accurate personal or business information.

  • Upload your FICA documents (ID, proof of address, and any business registration docs if applicable) for verification.

  • Once verified, call or Whatsapp us at +2764 626 7646 to begin listing your lots on AI Auctions.

You can sell:

  • Livestock (cattle, sheep, goats, chickens, etc.)

  • Agricultural machinery and equipment

  • Miscellaneous and industrial goods

AI Auctions requires FICA documents for verification:

  • Government-issued ID or Passport

  • Proof of residential or business address

  • Relevant business registration documents (if selling as a business)
    This ensures secure and trusted transactions on our platform.

  • Once the auction ends, and the buyer confirms payment and the item has been verified, funds will be transferred to the seller’s nominated bank account.

  • Payment is processed within 48 hours of receiving payment from the buyer.

    • Entries can only be cancelled under exceptional circumstances (death, illness, damage, or defects etc.)

    • Contact AI Auctions support support@aiauctions.africa with your reason for cancellation.

    • Approval will be at the discretion of the auction administrators. 

    Yes

    • AI Auctions charges a sellers commission fee of 10% on successful auctions.

    • All charges are transparent and displayed before you confirm your listing.

  • AI Auctions has a structured dispute resolution process.

  • Buyers and sellers are encouraged to communicate first. If unresolved, AI Auctions mediates according to our terms and conditions.

    • Minor edits (like updating descriptions) may be possible.

    1. Register Account:

      Register with your name, surname, email and password.

    2. Verify Account:

      Once you have registered you will need to verify your account (You will receive an email)

    3. Update Account:

      You will need to update your details (once-off).

    4. Start Bidding:

      Go to the auction you wish to view and start bidding. Register Now

    • Verification usually takes 24 to 48 hours once all documents have been submitted. You’ll receive an email confirmation once your account is approved.

    • After logging in, browse through the available auctions, select the auction you’re interested in, and click “register” as soon as your registration is approved you’ll be able to place your bids. You will also be prompted to confirm your bid before submission.

    • If you’re the highest bidder, you’ll receive an invoice via email with payment instructions. Once payment reflects in AI Auctions’ account, ownership transfer to the buyer. (We will provide you with the sellers contact details to arrange collection or courier)

    • We accept EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) as the primary payment method. All payments must be made within 24 hours of receiving your invoice.

    • Once payment has cleared, our team will contact you with collection details or delivery options (if available).
